Short presentation of the French-speaking HRM Academy (AGRH)
AGRH is the French speaking Academy in the field of Human Resources Management.
Its mission statement broaches three main objectives:
- Cross-fertilizing knowledge and experience between professors of management, in order to produce cutting-edge theories and bodies of knowledge on HRM and organizational development and change processes.
- Formalizing actionable knowledge through a series of focus groups where academics and practitioners cooperate to draw on experiments and theories in an attempt to enhance reflexivity. It results in insights on root solutions to tricky HRM issues, as opposed to quick fixes. Topics range from stress at work to older employee management, flexible employment or tetranormalization.
- Networking internationally, both in the area of French speaking countries and in between French speaking scholars and academics using other languages such as English, German or Russian.
The membership consists currently of over 600 colleagues who teach and research in the field of HRM. They range from leading academics to doctoral students and practitioners who teach in the higher education system or publish in our field.
The publication outlet includes journals such as "Revue de Gestion des Ressources Humaines", "Management et Avenir", "Revue Internationale de Psycho-Sociologie" and "Revue Sciences de Gestion-Management Sciences- Ciencias de Gestion".
In addition, a comprehensive database of the AGRH conferences is available through the website.
