The RMS foundation has originated from the tight links between RMS and its alumni network, but also from the active partnerships RMS developed with companies over the years.

The objective of the RMS Foundation is to constitute and maintain a financial fund to support the national and international development of RMS. The RMS foundation is a foundation under the aegis of Fondation de France, which guarantees rigorous management of the funds collected.

The purpose of the foundation is to help RMS develop and thus, in a citizen approach, participate in the effort to train young generations at RMS. The objective of this foundation focuses on two flagship projects in France and abroad: awarding grants and creating teaching and research programs.
