Real Estate and Society
www.chaireimmobilier-rms.com
The Chair in Real Estate & Society was set up in October 2011 as part of a partnership between Reims Management School, PLURIAL group and ACOBHA Student Residences.
After the real-estate crises of recent years and the development of globalisation at the end of the twentieth century, it has become vital to take the real-estate aspect into account in any economic policy, and on the other hand to pay attention to economic and financial aspects in real-estate management.
New management positions are being created to respond to these new demands. Higher education must therefore evolve and train future managers to be aware of the relationships between the economy, real-estate and society.
The Chair is a programme to develop research and teaching in urban real-estate problems. The aim is to encourage teaching and research into Economics, Finance and Real-Estate Management considering social issues.
Research Areas of the Chair in Real-Estate & Society:
• Funding Social Housing
• New Services for Social Housing Residents
• Assisted Home Ownership
• Social consequences of the Ageing Population

www.chairemaes-rms.com
The Chair in Social and Solidarity-based Economy was set up in March 2008 at the instigation of the RMS Foundation and its three founding members: the Crédit Agricole du Nord-Est, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and RMS-Network.

Based on these strengths, this Chair aims at:
- Facilitating exchanges between associations, businesses and the social economy,
- Raising the awareness of students about this sector, motivate and assist vocations,
- Producing high-quality French and international research,
- Being recognized as a stakeholder in the sector.
The founding members of the Chair have defined three strategic focuses which will underpin research and teaching: management and governance, assistance with financial management and marketing and communication.
