Bernard VALERO

Mr. Bernard VALERO, born in 1954, has had a long and distinguished career in the French Foreign Service. He is the recipient of the Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2006 and the Officer of the National Order of Merit in 2010, both being very prestigious awards in France. He is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies and was admitted to the National Administration School in 1977.
During the course of his duties for the French Foreign Service he has lived and worked in many parts of the world, namely Dublin, Havana, Quebec, Washington just to mention a few. Following many distinguished appointments, he became Deputy Director, deputy spokesman (Communication and Information) from 2000 to 2003. Following this he was appointed General Consul in Barcelona from 2003 to 2006, before then moving on to become extraordinary ambassador to Skopje from 2006 to 2009. In September 2009 he became the Communications Director and Chief Spokesperson at the Central Administration.



Harry COSTIN

Dr. Harry Costin received a doctorate in Strategy from Boston University. His dissertation focused on the strategies pursued by over 130 AACSB accredited schools that offer an MBA, and included a cross-sectional and longitudinal analysis of the role played by accreditations and rankings.

Since 1989 Dr. Costin has taught at different universities and business schools in the United States and Europe including: Boston University, the University of Massachusetts, the American University of Paris, the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid, and Reims Management School, among others. He also served as Director of Programmes and Research at the EuroArab Management School in Granada, Spain. As a consultant to higher education institutions focusing on strategy and quality assurance (including the implementation of accreditation-compliant systems), he has worked with different institutions including the Harvard Medical School and the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Costin has presented the results of his research related to the strategy and accreditation of business schools in different international forums including the Academy of Management conference, the Academy of International Business conference. He recently co-authored a paper entitled “Quality in Business Education as Measured by Accreditation and Ranking Systems” in the special issue “Quality Assurance in Education Management” of the Journal of International Management in Education, Vol. 3, Nos.3/4, 2009. Previously, he published four books dealing with Total Quality Management and quality improvement systems, which included a discussion of how quality systems are applied in higher education settings.

Fabrice Bonvoisin founded his own consulting firm in 2002 (FB International LLC), providing international business development services.
In the US, Fabrice held the positions of Vice President for worldwide operations at Biosafe Medical Technologies, and Director of International Business Development Services at the Chicago Manufacturing Center.
In Europe, he handled executive positions at Castorama in Italy, and in France at the global research center of Pechiney. He lives in Chicago since 1997, with his wife Patti and their son Thomas.
Among many volunteer activities, Fabrice manages the US-Chapter of RMS-Network created in 2000.

Jean-Philippe Verdier (Sup de Co 1996)

Jean-Philippe Verdier has over 12 years experience as corporate finance banker with BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and most recently as a Director for Greenhill & Co. He provides strategic advice on complex corporate finance and M&A situations (acquisition, disposal, merger, capital restructuring, fund raising, private or public companies).
To date he has completed some €15bn of transactions, ranging €50m-€6.0bn each, in industrial, renewable, utilities, consumer, media, and technology for clients like EDF, Nasdaq, Imperial Tobacco, CVC Capital Partners, Scottish & Newcastle, or Shanks.
Jean-Philippe is a 1996 RMS graduate and he just completed the one-year full time senior Sloan MSc in Strategy & Leadership at the London Business School.
He has guest lectured a few times at RMS on corporate finance (MBA classes).

Laurent de la Vaissière is a Senior Manager within Deloitte's Consulting practice, where he focuses on information security and reliability of financial information systems in the banking and telecoms industries.
Further to the CESEM’s US track, Laurent spent most of his career working abroad in Luxembourg and Canada.
He is an administrator of RMS-Network and coordinates the alumni association’s activities in Luxembourg.



Stéphane Bihorel (MBA 2006)

After 10 years in IT and communication in France, Stephane decided to change his career at 32 years, with an international orientation and focus on China (due to the dynamic economy results).
He enrolled the RMS MBA program (6 months in Reims and 6 months in China). Since then, he has created a wine (FVD) and light company (Airstar China).

Sylvain currently lives and works in Ireland. Sylvain joined Ingersoll Rand Europe as IT Director 2 years ago. Prior to this role, Sylvain worked as a Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Accenture for 10 years and 6 years for Oracle Application.
With Mathilde Miravete, Sylvain is the “chef de tribus” in Ireland. The tribus now meets Monthly in Dublin. Sylvain is a keen sailor

Cyrique Bourbon joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in November 2010 as a senior fund analyst, with a particular focus on European equity, global equity, multi-assets and sector strategies.
Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Cyrique was an investment research analyst at Old Broad Street Research (now part of Morningstar) from 2006, where he also provided consultancy and advisory services to retail clients.
Cyrique received an MSc in Management from Reims Management School in 2006 and, during his studies, he spent a year working for Russell Investment Group as a Portfolio Analyst in London, followed by 5 months within Societe Generale Asset Management as a Sales Assistant in Frankfurt.

After nine years spent with PwC both in Paris and Sydney, during which he acquired international experience in auditing and managing multicultural teams chiefly in the Automotive and Industrial Products worlds, Sebastien is now Shareholders Reporting Manager with Vodafone Hutchinson Australia.
Sebastien is an active member of the French business community in Australia, where he came for the first time in 2000 when he was student at Sup de Co.
He is married and has two kids.

Marie Guillore was born on 11th January 1981. She is graduated from University of Nantes in foreign languages and international trade.
She first worked in the fair organisation in Bologna and since 2003, she has been part of the French Trade Commission - Ubifrance in Italy.
The Ubifrance network assists French-based companies seeking potential partners and new markets worldwide. UBIFRANCE also runs the VIE programme (Volontariat International en Entreprise) and helps French companies and their local subsidiaries to source highly skilled, competent and dynamic young graduates (between the ages of 18 and 28) to support the expansion of their businesses.
Based in Milan, Marie promotes the V.I.E. programme in both helping French subsidiaries to implement their V.I.E. projects and in finding suitable candidates for a professional experience in Italy.

Her first professional experience was in Paris as Marketing and Sales Manager in Leisure and Real Estate.
Living in Barcelona since 1992, she is a free-lance leisure consultant, running her own business as franchisee of Dunkin’ Donut trade mark, and in charge of the Job department of the French Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.

Pauline is 26 and she comes from Saint-Etienne, which is located close to Lyon.
She has been graduated from a Bachelor in foreign languages (English and Italian), then she achieved a Master in International Business at Jean Monnet University.
She is currently working at the CFCII as a recruiter, which represents her first working experience. She has a contract position called VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) until the end of the year. The main task of her job remains in the recruitment of bilingual staff for both French and Italian companies, and giving a support to French people who want to find a job in Italy.

Born in 1983, graduate from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims (CESEM Bachelor degree) and holder of a Master in international strategy & management from La Sorbonne, Hélène Toury joined Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) in 2006 as VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) in Singapore.
In 2009, she was appointed Manager of the South East Asian Marketing & Communications activities.
Since September 2010, she is in charge of organizing the Marketing & Communications Industrial activities of VWS in Asia.
Hélène Toury is acting as board member of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore since 2007, member of the Sustainability Committee of The European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore since 2008, and participant of the Asean CSR Network since January 2010.

Graduated from RMS in 1997 after 6 months in Ireland (Erasmus), worked 7 years with Carrefour Group, including 2 years in Italy as Product Manager Audio / Video / Photo, 4 years in Carrefour International as International Category Manager Audio / Photo and then 1 year in Hong Kong to be in charge of all Consumer Electronics sourcing for the Group.
PPR Group was the next step, to take care of all TV / AV purchasing (branded and private label) for Fnac, Conforama and Mail Orders during 2 years.
After 9 years of Retail experience, this was time for the other side of business with 2 years of Sales Manager at DIVX (Southern Europe, Software), then to a new country, UAE, at Samsung MEA for Regional Product Marketing TV / VIDEO.
Latest step is Hewlett Packard Middle East since January 2011 for Regional Sales in Telecoms, Online and Government projects.
