Main Conference Location

AIM 2009 will take place at the conference Centre of Ryad Mogador Menara Hotel (5*) on June 10-12, 2009.

The meeting space at Ryad Mogador hotel offers one main conference room and six boardrooms, with a capacity of 650 seats.

Getting to Marrakech

Marrakech has an international airport (www.onda.ma) with direct scheduled flights coming in from Paris and many charter flights arriving from all over Europe. The major airlines flying into Morocco are: EasyJet, Ryanair, Royal Air Maroc, Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, KLM, Sabena, Lufthansa and Swissair. Have a safe trip!

Getting to the Ryad Mogador Menara Hotel

Marrakech’s Menara International Airport is located about 5 Km from the main conference site in downtown Marrakech. You can get to the hotel by bus or by one of the taxis parked on the main plaza. The major car rental companies also have an office at the airport.

Taxi: Petit taxi (maximum of three people) from the airport to the city centre costs 30-50 MAD and takes about 15 minutes. A “grand taxi” takes up to 6 people and costs approximately 60 MAD.

Bus: Number 11 runs to Djemaa el-Fna every 20 minutes during the week and less frequently during weekends and public holidays. Tickets cost 5 MAD and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
