Submit paper


Submissions may take the form of:

  • Completed reseach papers:
  • papers must not exceed 5000 words. Papers should make a useful theoretical and/or empirical contribution.
  • Research-in-progress papers:
  • papers must not exceed 2500 words. Its represent work that is incomplete, yet promising.
  • Teaching cases:
  • papers must not exceed 5000 words. The case provided is based on an original research and developed well enough to help an instructor in preparing to teach it.

Submissions must not already have been published or accepted in a journal or conference proceedings, nor presented at another conference. Further, they must not be currently under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere. Papers will be peer-reviewed by a double-blind reviewing system. Please, make sure that your identity is not mentioned within the paper or through the file name.

Regarding those three forms of submissions, the first page must provide a title, an abstract, and the contact details of the author (s) (his / her name (s), [name of his / her institution], professional address, e-mail address, phone number and fax number). Then, the second page should ONLY mention a title and an abstract, without any reference to the identity of the author(s).

The participants to the AIM Conference 2009 must submit their paper proposals via Easy Chair: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aim2009


Instruction to authors & submission guidelines:

  • Download the paper format from here.
  • Make sure that your paper is formatted as notified in the document.
  • References to author(s) and institution(s) should appear only in the final print version of the paper; they should be mentioned as indicated in the above template document. Papers submitted for review MUST be anonymous (any references to author and institution must be deleted from document properties).
  • Go to the Submit Paper section of the AIM Conference 2009 Website and follow the Paper Submission Procedure.
  • The deadline for submission is February 23, 2009.
  • You will be notified by April 06 if your paper is accepted.
  • When accepted, please follow the guidelines for the camera-ready copy and submit that copy at Easy Chair before April 22, 2009.
  • Please prepare your presentation using PowerPoint and bring your presentation to the meeting on USB drive or CD.
