Dear readers,
The new academic year has begun, and so naturally we look back over the last year as we prepare a new Research Yearbook.
During 2010-2011 the quality of our scientific production was particularly pleasing, with a large number of articles published in AERES and CNRS ranked journals.
2011 was also marked by the creation and launch of our four research centres. The same strategy was pursued at the end of the year with the launch of the new Chair in Real Estate and Society and the arrival of Nicolas Tarnaud as chair-holder. Nicolas Tarnaud, together with Stéphane Fourneaux, deputy chair-holder, has already produced a first study of Social Housing which has been presented to the chair’s sponsors.
Every year the faculty grows bigger with new professors and we wish them a warm welcome. Warmest congratulations go to our new PhD holders: Nacima OURAHMOUNE, Frédéric PELLEGRIN-ROMMEGGIO and Eric LE DELEY.
Another event that concerns academic life at RMS is the organisation of a Research Day on 16 January 2012, whose aim is to present to a wider audience in an entertaining way the research work currently being undertaken by RMS teacher-researchers.
We hope to see many of you on this important occasion.
Svetlana Serdukov
Associate Dean Head of Research
